Welcome to CindyCoverdale.com

Welcome!  CindyCoverdale.com is devoted to all things having to do with Cindy, and is hosted by Cindy herself.

Feel free to browse around and see what’s been going onin my world lately.  I will update this site as often as possible… but TRUST me, my life can get crazy busy so no guarantees it will be daily or anything! I’m new to this blogging thing, and I’m a pretty private person (pole dancer or not!) so it’s very likely going to be a continual work in progress… All the best, Cindy

Hi Cindy, thank you so much for allowing us to see into your life. I have been a fan of Whitesnake for 30 years and last year I was lucky enough to met your husband and the rest of the band in Liverpool. I’m looking forward to seeing them again this June in Dublin. As a 43 year old women i think reading what you say about pole dancing might just make me grab the pole and give it a try ….thought about it for years!!!!!

    Kind regards

    jax’s

  3. Definitely give it a try! It’s so much fun. And it’s a great workout… without feeling like a workout. Hey, I think I’m going to Dublin too. I’m looking forward to it. I’ve never been there before. David and Jasper always tease me about moving to Ireland. It’s perfect for them… but I need my BEACH HOUSE first!! ha ha.

  4. Thank you for the kind words, Tiara. Sounds like you have a very fulfilled life! So nice to hear. I toyed with the idea of sharing my more spiritual side on the website. I may add a section for it in the future. As for know though, it feels like I need to keep it close to me!

  5. Iam very impressed, that you indeed find the time to read this..
i promise, not to blaaaa too much in future haha..but this site just..
and how you write about your life..just made me..type/talk..

    HI Cindy:

I sent you a note on Facebook but figured I would leave a message here, too. I don’t know if you remember me but some years back we were in touch while I was toying with the idea of writing a book on organizing. You were so kind and generous to help me out and I just wanted to say thank you again! The book never came to be but I have never forgotten your kindness.

On to your website. . .I am so glad I found it. Wow, you give new meaning to the word inspirational. I love that you took a passion and took it to the next level. I am so impressed with what you have accomplished with your business and your interest in pole dancing. You are a true inspiration to women everywhere. Just looking at the photos of you in action–holy cow some of the poses you hold. Just looking at them makes me feel empowered and like I can do anything!

I am happy I came upon your site beucase I was laid off a couple of months ago (after I closed my organizing business, I went on to a management position at a local animal shelter) and now am dealing with thinking of a career change after just turning 40. It is a bit scary but very exciting and it is always nice to come across other women who are doing new and exciting things at all different ages.

I wish you the best of luck with all of your ventures. You deserve every bit of it and all of the happiness you have in your life. I hope to see you on the motivational speaking circuit one of these days! I think it would be great for you to take your life experiences on the road and share them with women everywhere!

    Take care!

    Heidi Gaumet

  7. Hi Heidi,
Just wanted to let you know I did see your post. Since I answered you on facebook I didn’t do it here. I’m so glad you went to a class!! You Go, Girl!

  8. Hello Cindy!
I’m from Japan. I’m a huge fan of Doug Aldrich since 1987 and also a fan of Whitesnake since then. I didn’t know you were writing a blog … looks very nice with the beautiful pictures. I have never met you, but I have the book “Food That Rocks” with your autograph, because one of my friends got it for me and sent it to me. My first Whitesnake show was in 1988, but I first met Mr. David Coverdale close on the Japan tour in 2003 (Doug introduced me to him). I couldn’t talk much because I was too nervous in front of the one of the greats in rock world. He was very attractive and really nice. And you look very beautiful, so I always think you are a beautiful couple. I do a computer job and I’ve been living with music. I listen to some kinds of music, classic, rock, pops, Japanese pops, etc. I’m not young, but I’m still looking for my happiness. I look forward to reading more of your diaries. I always wish you and your husband, and your family more happiness … have a great weekend!! Greeting from Japan … Yuki

  9. Hi Yuki! Nice to meet you! I started this blog because I am determined to become more internet savvy! ha ha. I have a great guy who is teaching me. He shows me how to do everything, but makes me do it myself! smile. I like that actually. Find your happiness, Girl! My advice would be to simply start trying lots of different things and see which ones bring you joy. That’s what worked for me! Good Luck! By the way, our son Jasper LOVES, LOVES, LOVES your country. He would like to live there one day!

  10. Thanks for the comment, Cindy! On the last Japan tour in 2008, maybe I saw Jasper. You and he visited here, right? I saw the bands off at Tokyo station when they went to Osaka. And I saw from the window of the bullet train that the little boy was eating something. I couldn’t see only David, though. I’m glad Jasper loves my country. And I hope you and David do too. David had a chance to enjoy karaoke? I hope so. I do many internet things like my website, MySpace, Facebook, MIXI (Japanese SNS). It’s fun, but always make me busy, haha. I’m always trying to do something new, I like it, so now I’m looking for more fun! Learning English is always important … Hearing English is hard for me. I want to visit your place someday, because the place around Lake tahoe looks very beautiful. I love to see the beautiful places. :)

Hi Cindy, just want to wish you a safe journey to Ireland. looking forward to seeing the boys again. Take care and enjoy!

Hi Cindy: I found your site when I was reading about Whitesnake and I was very curious of the woman who finally landed David Coverdale :) . I have sooo many similarities with you and David trying to find myself and love. When I read interviews that you and your groom have done and shared with the public, it amazes me how you two actually met and the journey it took to get you there. After finding out that you are a spiritual person it triggered me to make changes in my life. When I read that you met in a hair salon and that you weren’t so-called a “famous model or what ever” (no insult intended), it gave me inspiration to know I can evolve if I just keep the faith. I know I can’t pole dance, but I have started yoga and seeing how healthy and happy and blessed your life has become has been a true epiphany for me personally. You just have a natural glow and who wouldn’t for God’s sake…..you have the most beautiful man in rock and roll….well besides Joe Perry and Richie Sambora!!! LOL!!!!! Thanks for your blog!!!!

  13. Hi Billye! Thanks for the posting. You go, Girl! Yoga is fantastic. I was way into yoga for many years, and still do a lot of it in my warm up and cool down for my pole dancing classes. Yoga is amazing because there is really a mind and body connection going on when you practice it, unlike many forms of exercise. It’s not important what you do as much as simply doing something that brings you joy and a sense of fulfillment! Best wishes to you on your journey! PS. I DO have a beautiful man! Inside and out!

  14. Billye Aug 14th 2009

Glad to hear from you! If Whitesnake ever comes to Peoria, Illinois, please let me know. I have a son (Max age 11), whom like Jasper, is an “old soul” and I would LOVE for Whitesnake to be his first REAL concert. His dad is a sound man and might even be the one doing sound for them when and if they get their booties here!!!! :)

  15. Billye Aug 14th 2009

P.S. I’m communicating with you because of who Cindy is and not who you are married to. Like I said you have been a real inspiration to me because you’re a “small town” girl and have soooo many similarities with me (ie older brothers and sisters, becoming a mother late in age, and pursuing dreams never imaginable). I want you to sign my (your) book “Food that Rocks” (what a genius idea, why didn’t I think of that?) You, my friend, are the true rock star!!!! that’s all. Come to Peoria. Have a good evening.

  16. When I read that you met in a hair salon and that you weren’t so-called a “famous model or what ever” (no insult intended), it gave me inspiration to know I can evolve if I just keep the faith. 17. Greetings Cindy,

It was rather unfortunate that David had to cancel the remaining dates of the tour; but I on the other had was fortunate enough to see Whitesnake and Priest on their Chicago stop…Whitesnake was bloody flawless!

That was the first time I had been able to see Whitesnake live, I was far to young to go see them even on their tour for the self titled album tour, that record was what turned me on to Whitesnake..”In the still of the Night” was the track that hooked me and it still holds up today.

What does on have to do to meet the great David Coverdale?

I do hope Whitesnake will do another tour, perhaps a headline tour next go around.

Please send David my regards and appreciate for Whitesnake.

    Cheers.

  18. Thanks for your comment, Rob. So glad you enjoyed the show! I will pass on your regards to David. And you never know when you might have a chance to meet him. I think it’s just a matter of being in the right place at the right time! He’s certainly not done doing what he does so you will likely have another chance to see him live… I think he may record a new album first though. I must say, I am VERY happy to have him home for a bit!

  19. Thank you for the beautiful message! I wish you much joy on your new journey of self evolution! I recommend trying lots of new things and see what makes you happy and inspired! All the best to you, Cindy

Hello, Cindy. I sent you a message on Facebook and after seeing all the responses here on your website, I thought I’d add one to the bunch. You’re an inspiration to a lot of people with all your creative avenues and yours is truly a Cinderella story – you’ve met and married a ” Prince Charming” for sure. Thanks for sharing your
” happily-ever-after” with the world. In a way, I owe your husband a big thanks for my own ” happily-ever-after”. When I was in my 20’s, I was very much into Whitesnake and kept a huge poster of David on my bedroom wall. One day, I happened to catch an interview with David and then-wife Tawny Kitaen, in which the veejay commented that they’d recently returned from Bora-Bora and asked how it was, to which Tawny replied, ” Boring-boring.” David turned to her and said,
“You got a lot of reading done, didn’t you? You read,…..” and he proceeded to name all the titles of the books she had been reading. I was blown away that this man actually PAID ATTENTION to what she read and what she was interested in. Didn’t I deserve that? At the time, I was involved with a guy who only wanted to control me – what I wore, where I went, etc. He could care less about what went on in my head. Not long after, I ended that relationship, met my husband and we’ve been married for 19 years and have a lovely little girl.
So, I really would like to express my deepest thanks to David for showing me what I was missing out on. All the very best to you, to David and to Jasper and God bless you all. Sally

  22. Hi Sally!
Yae for you! We all deserve that. I count myself very fortunate to have such an amazing partner to share my life with!

Forgot to ask you – what breed are your cats? Loved the picture of them – they are adorable. Are they male, female or one of each? How old are they?

  24. Lola, the chocolate colored kitty, is a Burmese. Riley, the black one is a pound kitty!
