Thank you for your good wishes!

Hi Everybody!

Just wanted to let you know that although it was very unfortunate that Whitesnake had to cancel the rest of their tour with Judas Preist, David is healing up great and doing well.

Generally, he’s not exactly a “quiet” person (smile), so it’s been interesting having him unable to talk!  We are taking very good care of him and are happy he is home and will not have any permanent damage to his vocal cords.

There’s a good reminder to everyone to LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!  His told him to stop… just in time… and he listened!  Whew! Thank goodness…

Thank you everyone for your good thoughts, prayers and concern.

With love,

Cindy

  1. Hi Cindy, I read the comment from David and Doug on their official sites. I’m glad he’s safe and relaxed at home now with his beautiful family including you. I always think good health is the most important in life, so I really hope he will recover soon and stay healthy for him and his family. I was glad to see him live in Japan last year. Take care and have a great weekend … big hugs from Japan.

Hi Cindy, Makes a change for a man to listen lol but on this occasion I’m so pleased he did. Enjoy your time with David while he recovers, we all know you and Jasper will take great care of him.

  3. Cindy,

Just wondering how David is doing this week with not being able to speak? One thing for sure, is that he will be listening to others quite a bit. :-) I attended a Debbie Ford retreat workshop for 4 days in San Diego a couple years ago and we were in complete silence except for when instructed not to be. It was such a unique and cool experience at the same time. Can you imagine it was a gift from my sweetie for my b-day and I did the trip alone. It was interesting and quite memorable. So happy that David is tuned into his body and actually listened to it. Sometimes we don’t and we just keep pushing ourselves. Thank goodness he did not damage that beautiful voice of his. :-) Looking forward in the future to get the chance to see him perform live again. It’s been way too many years. :-) Much love and many blessings to all of you..

  4. Hi Cindy ! Greetings from northern Europe ! Nice to hear your side of the story. David gave us fans a scare, but luckily the situation is not as bad as we thought first. I hope David recovers quickly so that you have a change to enjoy this break as a family to a full extent. Be safe and be happy..

    Hello Cindy,

I have never posted here before, but I felt this sudden urge to say something! I am a fan of David’s and have been for years. I want to send my well wishes and send a “Thank you” your way. You share your husband with the whole world and I think it takes a strong woman to do so. Thank you for the update. I’m glad to hear that he is doing well. I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert just a couple weeks before the tour was canceled. I wish you all nothing but the best.

Take care. Love from Southern Cali…

  6. Hi Ursula!

That was a total bummer about David’s throat and having to miss out on the last shows, but he is all healed up and his voice is in great shape again. Thank you for being so understanding! That is so refreshing and nice to hear… even though you were obviously disappointed. Blessings to you.

  7. Thank you for the kind comments, Rachel! David is all healed up and the voice is back to 100%… I guess I should post that on the site, huh? Things have been a little bit busy in my world! All the best, Cindy
